Texan.

A man's gotta chew what a man's gotta chew.
That was the tagline for Toffos.

My favourite - as a chocaholic it's virtually impossible to name an all time favourite but the Double Decker is probably it.

Have you ever tried a star bar or are you just being pedantic?

I quite like star bars and they defintely taste like they contain peanut butter and although they probably just contain crushed peanuts, I think most people associate them with peanut butter.

I really used to like Cabana bars (caramel cherry and coconut) there isn't anything like them now that I have found.
I was just stating they don't contain peanut butter as the poster I quoted said they didn't like peanut butter. I don't think that's pedantic personally.

Memories of the Secret bar and Cabana bar were lovely. Sadly not around anymore

Available bars: mine would be Wispa/ Wispa Gold Bar

Oh so missed. I loved both those. The Waifa was like a smoother nicer Kit Kat.

Mine's Cadbury Cherry Ripe, but you can only get it in the UK from specialist stores like Cybercandy (The London store was the first place I ever tried it and I fell in love!)

If we're going for actual bars of chocolate then I'd say Lindt Plain Chocolate with Sea Salt. Chocolate and Salt is a match made in heaven

and if we are going for actual chocolates rather than bars - Sprungli truffles, only available online from Switzerland or direct from their Zurich/Swiss shops etc.

I don't see why we can't do chocolate/s as well, I have no problem with that.

Are they different from the Lindt Lindor truffles?

They're made by Confiserie Sprüngli, the family owned side of Lindt & Sprüngli, which is a bit like Samuel Smith's beers compared to John Smith's.

Basically, the smaller scale one is a lot better

Yes but which Double Decker?

The old one with the hard crunchy chocolate flavour stuff or the new one with the chocolate puffed rice?

Eldest son just came in and gave me a small piece of chocolate, I bit a bit off and wished I hadn't.
I asked what it was and he said Milka and that it was his favourite chocolate.

Lindt Lindor truffles are lovely too but the Sprungli ones are exceptional. Worth a treat buying in once a year.

Double deckers: I used to prefer the original ones from the 1970s era mainly because the fondant on top was firmer.

Back in the 90s you could get a large Cadbury bar with rice crispy bits. That was lovely. I expect my tastes have changed now but I'd love to try one of those again.
