Potential for some early years of BBC soaps to be streamed online? I'd rather pay a reasonable monthly fee to view old BBC shows than buy shows from the BBC store which price wise isn't very good value imo.
According to the Guardian, the BBC is looking at launching its own subscription-based streaming service that would allow users to enjoy its content once it's been removed from iPlayer.

I would rather pay a monthly fee too. I still need to see the full year of 88 in EE.

There are a few episodes from the early years of Eastenders I would like to see aswell, also some early episodes of Dr Who which could end up on the player if it goes ahead.
