I for one hope it is.

Peggy and Claudette scenes in Peggys last episode is a step to far. she said her goodbyes today, tomorrow should be family only

If we get a Peggy/Claudette scene tomorrow and not a Peggy/Sharon scene I will be very disappointed.

As it is, I am trusting Sarah Phelps.

Claudette is not in the cast list for tomorrow so it appears that we won't be getting a showdown between the two. Which is fine by me as they've got no onscreen history. Their past is all based offscreen and via people's recollections. Remember during Pat's deathbed scenes, we were forced to watch her and Derek Branning trade barbs despite him only being in the show a wet weekend.

I have not seen the episode yet but that is absolutely typical of the bizarre worship TPTB give to this bloody awful family.

Claudette - who has never shown any fear of anyone (male or female) is suddenly reduced to a quivering pool of yellow jelly the moment she is confronted with an ancient Mitchell midget?

Do me a favour.

Yawn.

I felt so sorry tonight for Peggy when she went to the trouble of cooking a big family meal for everyone and only Phil showed up. Unknown to everyone that it was going to be a goodbye dinner. Poor Prggy, at least Grant showed up in the nick of time.

Are we suppposed to believe that Peggy and Claudette are contemporaries? Isn't Peggy about forty years older than Claudette?

I agree, but isn't that typical of the younger generation? They've taken it for granted - like we all do - that there's always tomorrow. In fairness, it is their second family dinner in 2 days - they did turn up the one to 3 blonde witches cooked.

I thought Claudette was only "secretly" back in the square and only known to Donna

It was odd to see standing in the market with Donna in full sight of everyone carrying on as if nothing had ever happened.

I've lost track of the whole Claudette stuff and even more so the now you see him now you don't Gavin. What was the whole point of involving Eric Mitchell in the re con?

Yes they made a big thing of Claudette being recognised by the likes of Peggy, Sal, Glenda and Kathy and also knowing Eric Mitchell and Gavin from the 1960s. Yet when we saw Claudette's passport onscreen it showed her date of birth as 1956. So she would only have been a child when them lot were adults and married with families of their own.

Surely Peggy is in her seventies? Early eighties at the most? Claudette is hardly in her thirties/early forties! I'd assume there was a twenty year age gap between them at the most, although that still wouldn't make them contemporaries by any stretch of the imagination.
