EE- Who is the Nastiest Female at the Mo?

Babe or Claudette?

Babe is just an idiot and a bore. The sooner she is gone, the better. Her scheming has become tiring.

Claudette is fab, but she's become a victim of the shows 'disappear for weeks on end scheme' meaning that after that superb week in March where the Hubbard's took centre stage was a waste of time, as it has had no long term impact.

EastEnders needs its HBIC back (Janine).

Now THAT is a layered nasty character who I can invest in!!!

I'd say Claudette. She's a murderer whereas Babe is nothing but a scheming attenton seeking bag of wind. I can't wait for Cora to return so she can put her in her place. lol

Jane. I don't know how she can live with herself, followed by Ronnie who is cold and ruthless. Claudette is a bitch, but fabulous with it. Babe is just a sad, bitter woman who likes to cause mischief.

Jane. The hatchet job they've performed on her is unbelievable.

Peggy in the past but not at the moment.

I suppose people forget that she berated the Philth for not torturing and murdering Archie (scum as he was) for her.

She had even cooked him a special hot meal to celebrate her own son becoming a cold-blooded killer.

Cuddly she is not.

Yes - it was very disturbing and almost psychopathic.

People should remember scenes like that when all of the teary eyed tributes to Ma Mitchell have finished. Everybody dies in the end - it does not mean that the person is absolved of all of their previous behaviour.

Pat was ten times the woman Peggy was and as for Lou Beale?

Nuff said.

Peggy is a nasty character, never liked her at all.

Ugh. Just the thread title made me remember how much I miss Janine. Wish she was on the square for a final scene of hatred with Peggy.

Babe is the most realistic villain currently; she's layered and complex and weirdly inspires a twisted kind of sympathy even when she's being vile.

Claudette is fabulous, OTT and highly camp and works best in big, explosive scenes.

I don't think anyone else falls under the 'nasty' category apart from maybe Ronnie, though nastiness isn't her modus operandi, IMO. She only tends to do bad things when she feels under threat, which is pretty often to be fair.

Actually, thinking about it, Louise is pretty nasty with little in the way of redeeming features but I guess she gets a pass as she's young.

Which character isn't is a better question.

And she is a Mitchell which gives her free pass to be as nasty as she likes.

Babe is far from Panto- she is a very layered character.
