Opinions on Peggy's last orders?
So that's it DING DONG THE WITCH IS DEAD as some might say.
Personally I loved Peggy as a character and I am very sad to see her go. I think her exit had its positives and negatives. Very disappointed that Grant left so soon, bloody hell if you blinked you missed him! My overall feeling is that I was expecting more. |

Well written episode, some good nods to the past, nice scene with Sharon, and PAT!!!!!! I just think that the storyline itself was quite rushed which is what let it down. But it will still go down in history.

Despite the rush, it was a lovely episode. Mixed reviews, but everyone will remember it so.

personally it felt very self-indulgent and extremely rushed - the whole thing was just one predictable cliche and I didn't enjoy it much at all 3/10

I was disappointed about the scene with Sharon, Peggy hated her (apart from a very blip after Dennis croaked it!) and she should have died hating her!

I cried like a baby.
Seeing pat and Peggy together one last time was an absolute treat. Getting ready for a night on the town, like two old friends WISHED we'd have had Peggy's theme but other than that it was perfect |

It was too rushed, but I liked that it was understated and subtle for the most part. Pat was fab and made the episode for me.

Mixed Bag.
It all seemed very rushed and not sure if it was just me but the ending just seemed a bit off. I loved the idea of Pat being with Peggy to show the viewers that she wasn't alone. But I think maybe having the voice of Pat would have been perfect. |

I expected an episode on a par with Friday's and it didn't quite deliver for me. Too much packed into 35 minutes when it should've been an hour. The ending was very sudden, though her goodbye to the Vic and Pat's return were excellent.
Also, why on earth was the toilet storyline featured? Completely unneccessary. 7/10. |

Terrible, the whole farcical charade had nothing to do with Eastenders, it was self-referential garbage done as a favour by power-mad Dom for his mate Barbara.
The only slight positive is that she's finally done for. |

It was very self indulgent but it did work well in my opinion.
I have never liked Peggy but these last few episodes was the finest both she (and Babs) has ever been. The olfactory, auditory and visual hallucinations are very typical of the dying brain fighting off the absolute zero of eternity. Anybody who has been at someone's death-bed knows this. So it was very fitting that she saw Pat at the end. I do expect very mixed reactions though. PS. Needlessly killing killing off Pat was one of the worst and most spiteful decisions in Eastenders history.

Shite and underwhelming. It was too rushed and should have lasted until at least the end of next week. Not to mention the blink and you'll miss it appearance by Grant. The only good part was seeing Pat again.

It was all very rushed and I don't think Peggy got a good chance to say goodbye to her family, I expected much more interaction with Ben, Louise, Billy, Ronnie and Roxy then what we got. Also, the toilet storyline was unease art, I think it should have been a Mitchell only episode, like the aftermath of Lucy's death...although that could still happen I suppose.
Pats return was amazing but I was pretty much expecting it. Why did they ever kill her off? Pam only wanted a break. Would have been nice to see Peggy hallucinate and talk with Archie and Tiffany. I was almost expecting it when she was standing at the bottom of the stairs. Something just doesn't seem right though, it doesn't feel final, I have a feeling Peggy might resurface later in the week, maybe in a post credits scene on Friday walking out of the square or something. |

Rushed and poor,
Can't believe Grunt would just jump in a taxi without saying good bye either |

IMO it wasn't an absolute tearjerker but I did feel for Peggy losing her senses in a few scenes. The last moments with Pat were wonderful.

Nice episode for what it was.
But I think they made a mistake in not having her go down with the Vic back in 2010. |

Rubbish ending. I would have liked to have seen her die in the Vic or with her family around her and actually see her die. Also Julia's theme at the end.

I don't understand why people are complaining it was rushed. Did we really want to see weeks and weeks of Peggy dying and in pain? It would have been needlessly depressing. Peggy wanted to die as she lived: on her own terms.
I enjoyed the episode. It wasn't fantastic but there were a few great scenes. Sharon and Grant lit up the screen, as usual, and the scenes with Pat were wonderful. I couldn't help but beam at seeing Pat back again, although her final line to Peggy really got me Having lost a close relative to cancer a few months ago this storyline has really hit home. A shame that the scenes with Peggy and Grant were so brief, but I didn't expect Ross would be back for long. Although Sharon and Peggy burying the hatchet was a nice touch. |

It was more about Barbara Windsor saying goodbye than Peggy dying, but then the whole week has been. It was hardly worth bringing Grant back for the amount of time he spent with his mother. It goes to show what a fragmented family the Mitchells really are. Even Phil spent most of his time hanging around the Arches and the Vic. What should have been a family occasion wasn't.

It was ok, but tbh i would have preferred a two hander with just Peggy and Pat.
Grant, Phil, Sharon scenes were ok but no punch |

It was ok and I liked the final scenes with Grant, Sharon and Pat but it feels very fragmented. Ironically Pat had a more fitting final send off!
