EE: The Ross Kemp school of acting
1. Tilt your head forwards.
2. Stare as hard as you can. 3. Say line in a monotone fashion. 4. Nod your head a bit. 5. Repeat for as many lines as you have. Utterly groundbreaking, truly pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the performance art world. How lucky we were to see a true thespian at work, captured on camera and everything. Thanks. |

He hasn't acted for 10 years. Personally I didn't have a problem with it but then I'm old enough to remember Ross's epic performances in the 90s.

He is awful. People were clearly desperate for him to come back for his character status rsther than Ross Kemp's acting ability.

I thought he was fantastic seeing as he hasn't acted in nearly 10 years and prob felt an insane amount of pressure on him really looking forward to his longer stint in the summer just one question though wasn't he meant to sleep with an ex tonight?

Personally I thought Ross acted better than Barbara and Steve.

Was he always this bad? Or was he once a good actor?

When I read the OP, the first thing I thought was, "Wait, isn't he obsessed with Lauren Branning? The one who delivers all her lines either scowling or yelling?!".
Didn't think he was bad at all tonight. And as other posters have said - watch some of the '90s stuff. Cracking. Or even in 'Extras' - he was great in that! |

Imo, Steve McFadden is without a doubt a better actor than Ross Kemp. I thought Ross's acting was good enough though, considering he hasn't acted in 10 years.

People are never happy here. Who cares what his acting was like? Just be glad he bothered to return at all.

He wasn't that bad considering he doesn't act anymore. Still, he should stick to what he is doing and not consider returning full time.

Take it for what it is, the bloke doesn't act anymore so not really surprise he might not be up to standard, he back doing a favour for old time sakes, I'm not expecting award winning performances.
