EE: who needs attention?
It seems on EE there is currently many characters who haven't had a storyline for ages (or even ever in some cases) or just go round in circles with repetition, and I think new boss SOC should either think of a good storyline and new character direction for them, or just axe them.
Here are some characters I believe need some attention; - Donna Yates. She's never had much to do apart from Fatboy who was then killed off. A few months ago there was something about her wanting a baby but that has fizzled into thin air and we probably won't hear about it again. The actress isn't that bad so I wouldn't axe her, but she does need a storyline. Hard hitting and gritty would work for this character. - Kush Kazemi. Since Shabnam’s exit he's had nothing to do. His fatherhood of Arthur has just gone now and it really isn't an important area. I can see Kush in the show for quiet some time, as he somehow fits the bill of a typical EastEnder. - Johnny Carter. Although he's just returned with a new head, they should utilise him more. Give him something to do. - Buster Briggs. I warm to Buster, I think he has potential to be a future great. But he hasn't been a big character up until recently with his petition against Costmart and whether this Kathy and Buster SL is heading. I still feel like he needs more to do. - Ronnie Mitchell. This isn't a case of a lack of Storylines, it's a case of character. To me, it seems like TPTB don't know what route they're taking with Ronnie, as she sometimes has her evil streaks I.e. Killing Carl but then she is portrayed as lovely. Sam Womack is an actress who's been on other projects so it's not like she'll be short of work. I like Ronnie so I want SOC to decide what route he wants to take with her and stick with it. - Billy & Honey Mitchell - although they work well as background characters, it still feels like they need something to do. Even it's just something to do with Janet or Will. - Vincent Hubbard. He's been really quiet lately. He hasn't really been up to that much either. I assume he'll be more prominent when Claudette returns to live with him (it's inevitable). I can't even think the last time I saw him! - Bex Fowler. Bex has potential, and is one of the good ones out of the youngsters. I can see them doing an issue related SL such as self harm or eating disorders. I know she will have romantic scenes with Shakil soon - Seeing as she was embarrassed about not having sex could this be a new SL? She feels she isn't ready - body confidence issues? |

Off the top.of my Head
. Patrick, Haven't seem enough of him. Donna, what happend to her wanting a baby . Lee and Whitney Give them Something decent to do Shirley. Wouldn't mind her having a storyline of her own. Kush Hardly done much Since Shabnam left. Kathy. What had she achieved since she returned. Bex give her Bulimia or drug storyline. Vincent agree he's been quiet, have him sleep with Belinda |

Donna should be written out, along with Vincent. I like Claudette but the other 2 not so much. Vincent is better at the comedy stuff and keeping Kim firmly on this planet, but they've ignored the fact he was a police informant and him and Ronnie's storyline seems to have been completely abandoned - con or not.
Kush will probably end up with Lauren. Jonny needs time for his new head to settle in, but I agree a Buster needs a bigger storyline. I fear his market plot is it for 2016 though. He's very much a supporting character which feels like a waste actually, but I'm not sure what else they could do with him. I can see him as a bit of a Jim Branning style character actually. Ronnie needs to go dark, full on evil. I love her death stares and the fact she isn't scared of anyone. Much better at it all than Phil is and frankly, it's time the show had an unapologetically evil ice queen. But I love her and Jack together. Jack was a policeman wasn't he? Let there be someone after revenge with Ronnie fixing it all. Rebecca Fowler - miscast. They should have had someone more like Louise, ready to give Sonia and Martin absolute hell. Having her as a fairly quiet, sensible kid quite frankly is a terrible decision. |

I would like to see Patrick and Cora revisited when she returns.
Kush and Roxy would make a firecracker of a couple. I agree that Donna should be written out now. |

Can't see Kush and Roxy. I would pit her with Max. Cora should be killed off.

Donna and Kush should be axed as they serve no purpose anymore. If they weren't box-ticking characters I believe they would be up for the chopping block.
I agree that all the rest need development though, especially Bex. |

Triangle-headed whinging manbaby Kush and MyLauren?! It would be an awful shame if he suffered a severe kneecapping, and even more unfortunate that his flat burnt down the same night.

With the right material, Kush has proven his worth IMO. He was brilliant during the stillbirth storyline.

It's all about Max and Belinda, just you watch. Stacey will get jealous and we'll be onto Stax all over again.

Roxy and Max makes sense. Cora may not return when new Producer takes over.

Lady Di of course. A no brainer
I follow the actress on twitter and she's lovely and keeps retweeting my tweets about how underrated and amazing she is. |

Johnny. I can't understand why they've brought him back when he's mostly just been appearing in the background in The Vic. Give him some purpose and relevance, he was a very well-received character first time round and could be again.

Kathy. She melted into the backround within days of her return. She never gets to say more than the odd line.
Vincent was wasted on just the dreadful s/l with the Mitchells and has hardly been seen since. Bex worked so much better with Martin and Stacey than she does with Sonia. She needs to be back living with a lively family. Belinda could take her under her wing. The Cokers...use them or lose them. Denise...every time I think they're going to do something with her it all fizzles out. She should be far more prominent than she is. I'd like to see more of Shirley, but they need to ease up on the drama for now. She's had enough to last a lifetime. Let's see more of her fun side, have her in the Vic more, just being a mum and gran. Give her a solid friendship. |

I would like to see Lee and Whitney move out of The Vic and into their own flat. They have a makings of a solid couple but right now they are overshadowed by everything else what takes place in the pub so just play second fiddle to that.
Likewise with Johnny, if Tom is his love interest I hope they work on it and not just use it as a plot device for what ever his big story is. I'm guessing it will be tied together some how as I can't see why else they have pushed Tom in the direction of Johnny.. |
