I would have to say 2016 because television scenes do NOT make me cry. This one had me bawling my eyes out worried that my family would think I was nuts.

2010 was more blockbuster, but there was more emotion and history in 2016.

Its an actual miracle that Kirkwood didn't burn her in the Vic. My only regret is she didn't die in the Vic last night. I would have quite liked her to take the pills and fall asleep in the Vic so that she could remain there forever.

But last nights episode was truly beautiful

With Pat sitting next to her, casting judgement over the punters in the Vic for one last time? What a great idea!

I prefer 2010. I would have preferred to see her body as the pre credit and alot of the episode was weird. I also hated the effect when she went into the Vic. Also the Sharon scene I think was part of the hallucination. I thought it was a mess tbh.

Neither to be honest

Babs told the show a year in advance she was leaving and all they did was have a fire and have her simply walk off. It was out of character and lame.

This cancer storyline was terribly rushed in every way. The writing and the acting made up for it. But the direction and scheduling was all a big gigantic mess.

As fitting as this would have been, it would've absolutely destroyed Phil as a character. He's the one who caused the fire, but to cause his mum's death would've been disastrous.

2010.

As great as the Peggy and Pat scenes were, the cancer storyline felt rushed to me and there wasn't much emotion either in comparison.

2010 definitely, her walking past a burnt out Vic for the last time (so we thought) with Julia's theme playing last night doesn't compare, really disappointed with it

2010. The show was in a better place back then, in my opinion and her whole exit week was fab. It was something that had been building up for ages.

I did enjoy last nights episode and it had more history to it, but I was disappointed we got no scenes with Ronnie, Roxy, Ben, Louise, Billy, etc... I agree it was all very rushed.
