Top 5 soaps with the most murders. It's over 6 months so these figures are probably higher now lol

http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/east...ly-to-live-in/

"We've been strict with the rules, so accidental killings don't count unless there was malicious intent. We also don't allow murders that occur miles away from the main location (unless it was somehow started there, like the Neighbours plane bomb)."

5. Neighbours
Murders: 10 in 30 years
Average murders per year: 0.33

4. Coronation Street
Murders: 19 in 55 years
Average murders per year: 0.34

3. Emmerdale
Murders: 24 in 43 years
Average murders per year: 0.56

2. EastEnders
Murders: 23 in 30 years
Average murders per year: 0.76

1. Hollyoaks
Murders: 43 in 20 years
Average murders per year: 2.15

I'm not surprised Hollyoaks is top of the murder list with 43 as there's been 55 (6 in 2010, 4 in 2011, 7 in 2012, 13 in 2013, 9 in 2014, 12 in 2015 and currently 4 in 2016) deaths since 2010 (alone) and I'm bored of it.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...llyoaks#Deaths

Then there's also been many serial killers over the years (in Hollyoaks) as well like Warren, Cameron, Toby, Nico, Lindsey and Silas.

At the moment it's becoming worse than Midsomer Murders, Murder She Wrote and Game of Thrones combined with the amount of characters who are murdered/die on the show that I'm surprised any of the characters want to stay there.

I vaguely remember reading somewhere that some of the soaps (I think it was Hollyoaks & EE) had more murders that America's murder capital in that small village / square! Just shows how over the top they can be!

When I made this topic there was a similar article on the Mirror that put the murder rates on Emmerdale, Corrie, Eastenders and Hollyoaks higher than the murder capital in the world!! I think Hollyoaks was 6x more "dangerous"!
