I would have thought this was Anya and her boyfriend's personal business, but maybe highlighted in the press as a warning to others to check their credit rating?
Having said that - according to that article (unless I've misread it) boyfriend hadn't paid the gas part of his duel bill for a year, but only owed £120. Wish my gas bill was that low!!
That being the case, mortgage lenders would look more towards Anya, and to be honest dancers can find it very difficult to get mortgages, simply because their work is not guaranteed to be consistent. They can earn a shed load of money one month, then practically nothing for the rest of the year. Believe me, it happens, so they are a poor risk.
