I almost wish Harry Hill was still going. He'd have done the perfect gurning Izzy.

I can't stand the character, although I did like it when she upset the drunken lush Anna.

I gotta disagree about Danny, he is hands down the best crier on soaps and could give a master class on crying but that is a topic for another thread.

The police here are crazy they've have been shooting unarmed people here and claiming self defense, so when I say she would have been shot i was being serious. I would never talk to the police the way Izzy did because she was really putting her own life in danger and correct me if I'm wrong but the officer could have tazed her if he wanted to she was being uncooperative and that was before running over his foot.

I also don't get why she just did't get plant, put clearly from this story Izzy's true disability is her mental capacity, she is not playing with a full deck. Also I found it hilarious that the police had been trailing the weed man, don't they have bigger criminals to follow around?

Is this whole storyline going to lead to her losing custody of the kid with either Gary or (heaven save us) Anna bringing it up. Then Izzy can bugger off and live with Kate-eh or Owen.

If I have to hear her say "I need it for me pain" one more time..........so help me ! 😡

Would that pussy police officer be able to cope with nastier criminals? The spineless wimp was "assaulted" by a vulnerable woman in a wheelchair. That is probably why he was nasty towards her, saw her as an easy target and probably got the shock of his life when she wouldn't allow herself to be pushed around.

Why didnt she just deny it, say it was an accident and then threaten to sue the officer for confiscating her pain tablets.

That officer did seem weak, but Izzy was not behaving right either, she was acting like she was above the law..

Watched the Omnibus, the acting was AWFUL and I thought the way the treated her was ok and it was her reaction which was awful. As soon as the police turned up, she went all OTT with them screaming at them. Her own fault

Exactly, every time I see her "crying" all I ever do is laugh

mmm me too, i went on a disability awareness and the instructor said they want equalness - if the cops showed sympathy they would still be in the wrong- she was just as rude back to them - wheelchair or not she could of showed less attitude, and personally ramming into someone with the chair is just as disgusting, its bad enough getting a shop trolley in your heel.

drugs are drugs i have no sympathy

I hope the writers are not going to use Izzy's story as a platform to decriminalise drugs; that is way it looks at present.

Whenever I see him off again sniffling and gasping I think of the episode of Friends where Joey says he keeps tweezers in his pocket to help him cry on cue . I think we've just had too much of Aaron's misery to now appreciate it.

I know you were serious - we get news stories here about your police shooting people who are unarmed. Our Police have truncheons and pepper spray. He could have given her a face full of spray and watched her gurn.

The policeman may possibly have had the right to enter Izzy's house with the intention of arresting the drug dealer but would have no right to search her house without a warrant or to interrogate or arrest her. The fact that she invited a drug dealer into her house is completely irrelevant.

The whole storyline of Izzy being in pain is a mess, right from the start when she was knocked out of her wheel chair in the factory dislocating her hip and no ambulance being called was joke, her so called friends seemed more concerned about Sean's coat getting nicked by the polish slave girl than about their injured and in pain friend Izzy, even her boss Aiden, who should have insisted an ambulance was called for a employee that was injured at their place of work.
