Anyone got a tingle going down the back of the neck to this pop music masterpiece?

I thought this was just the theme music for the Radio 4 satirical show "Week Ending" for many years. Didn't realise it was a pop song with lyrics.
And now for next week's news.......

Wasn't this keyboard riff the theme tune for radio 4's "Week Ending" back in th 80s?

Doh! Too slow!

The world's a poorer place because Billy is no longer in it.
Such a shame.

A pity both appearances of 'Club Country' are Yewtree'd.

Sublime. Magnificent. Spell bounding and Majestic. 3 and a bit minutes of pop perfection! Cheers for that Billy, you stole the show my boy.

His cheeky little looks at himself in the monitors are so endearing.

That was Brilliant.

yes. I always have an Associates album in the car and was listening to some really old stuff today.

Multi mega-stars Simon? If only Billy hadn't had a wobble and disbanded before they hit america

Well there are at least 5 of us on here who think Classic is a classic.

This song has beautiful production, appreciated best through headphones.

Simon said "let's see what's at number 11"...then counted down from 20 to 12.

Martha Ladly, one of the members of Canadian band Martha & The Muffins. Echo Beach was such a great single.

Ever get the feeling Adrian wasn't bothered if he wrote the song in an attic or not. Just looking for a world to rhyme with addict i bet.

Wouldn't surprise me if the cheeky scamp wrote it in the conservatory

Sorry to bring up SAW again, but Banarama were actually cool until they went with PWL.
