It's Thursday 22nd April 1982 with Peter Powell on tonight's TOTP.
The "Task Force" is sailing rapidly down to the South Atlantic and getting closer to the Falklands every day now in readiness for full scale war with Argentina any moment.
Quite how TOTP managed to air for all these weeks in 1982 without being broken into by a very important BBC Newsflash is amazing in the 3 channel TV world 1982 was.
