Anyone else recall other Europap hits from the period?”

Evelyn Thomas - High Energy. Although that wasn't a bad song, more pop than pap IMO.
Ditto - Modern Talking - Brother Louie.
I remember the mid 80's quite well in respect of not being able to go into a bar in the likes of Amsterdam or Paris around that time where you were pretty much guaranteed to hear one (or both!) of them within a maximum 30 minutes. Maybe that was just within the sort of places I used to go though.

- Yes that's one way of describing it! - I can possibly recall more - but luckily my brain has made a conscious effort not to remember the names of the artists if I can help it!
) - 'Call Me' to the more pap than pop list personally.

As we're all no doubt aware, there's one or two 'semi regulars' who seem determined to antagonise, provoke and disrupt it all though at every possible opportunity, in my eyes often for the sole apparent reason of self amusement and possible self graitifcation in doing so. Sad. Very sad. And all so f---ing boring too, Just ignore 'em!!! Silence is a very powerful weapon, indeed perhaps the best one available. Don't rise to them or respond and they'll absolutely hate it!!!!
I was looking forward to one, I need a Pops fix! So, have consoled myself by just watching the two I missed last week.
