Was there a reason why Lynyrd Skynyrd were in the top 30?

George Galloway is on TalkRadio right now from 7pm to 10pm. A fab listen, which I will do as I soak myself in a while. Meow.

A very bland middle of the road show tonight.

I blame the housewives.

If he was a nice person you could see Sayer on a talent show as a judge but he's clearly loathed within the biz.

Is this song really worth Leo straining his vocal cords so much?

Re-release to promote the band's newly released greatest hits album.

Was it this year or last year that Steve Strange died?

That synth riff sounds a bit like the beginnings of techno. Someone said that last time IIRC.

At last - something that sounds like it's from 1982 - Visage!

Cheers. I always wonder when something anachronistic pops up, whether it was some DJ pushing it, or a movie appearance.

Much of this video looks the same as the studio appearance of two weeks ago.

Steve Strange has gone the exact same way as Pete Burns.

I remember this one now. Is this the same one they did in the studio a couple of episode ago?

Absolutely no connection to 1982, totally without any pretension, and yet its lasted longer than anything else in that chart (with the exception of Come On Eileen).

Also, 'Layla' was recently in the '82 chart. Another straight-forward rock classic.

Subtitles: "I Go I Go" instead of Iko Iko. The person doing them obviously a bit disinterested.

Wasn't the Yewtree'd 1000th edition on 5th May 1983 the first simulcast ?

He could also have doubled as Sarah Dallin if he'd fancied joining a Bananarama tribute band.
