Looks more like Mardi Gras than a circus to me.

I like to think Martin Fry wears a tie even in his pyjamas.

Martin Fry's aged well compared to many of his 80's contemporaries.

I do hope everyone in this thread is fully aware of the magnificent Smash Hits archive that Brian McCloskey and friends have built up over the last few years.

My sister got Smash Hits. I was too cool to read it. But, of course, I did.

Me too. RM was brilliant. That was the only music paper I always bought every week back then. I used to flip through the others and maybe buy them dependent on who was in them that week.

'Only You' by Yazoo is brilliant. The B side 'Situation' is even better.

I think we've sort of had that, or as good as we're likely to get though with this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Your-Room-Y...=yazoo+box+set
I'm not sure there would be a lot more Yazoo material available to add.

'Young Guns' is a much better song than I think people give credit for.

The female voice behind Wham Rap sounds a bit bitter.

I wish it was 1982 again. Forgotten how good it all was.
