Picture quality is slightly disappointing but it's better than nothing I guess. I can't find any other uploads of the episode.

It was a re-mix.

It was Yewtree'd - I believe the girl who played Eileen in the vid was the younger sister of Siobhan from Bananarama.

AFAIK they were never an item - she was the girlfriend of Paul Caplin, the dark haired Jewish? bloke on the periphery of the set on last week's show playing the melodica.

No problems. I'll take anything. It's not a bad lineup barring a couple!

He he, you got the poster version as well? I never put it on the wall as you can imagine. I think I still had Debbie Harry on the wall even in '82. I remember having a lot of Siouxsie Sioux on the wall at some point.

I had Debbie too. And Kim Wilde (2 from memory). Soft Cell (naturally) and an old poster my sister didn't want anymore of The Sweet!

I love The Sweet. I was just listening to 'Love is Like Oxygen' a wee while ago!

Yes - gonna have to stay up late for that one! Was wanting to see it tonight!

Overall a great show - if they'd squeezed the Captain on also. 8.5/10!! - Big improvement on the last month!!

Yeah, agreed. I always liked The Sweet too. They may not have written many of their hits (although I think they did with 'Oxygen') but they made some great music.

Well, the only thing I will say is that perhaps if Agnetha sung 'Save A Prayer' it would no doubt improve it for me no end.

I didn't stick it on the wall - either! For some reason I wasn't a fan of Haircut 100 for their looks!

P.S - I still have a picture of Debbie Harry on the wall - in a frame now!!

These were a couple of compilations I bought back in '82. Chart Beat and Chart Heat (great titles eh?). It was one of those buy 1 get 1 free releases that were always out at that time. They were pretty good and featured a lot of songs that we're getting on the Pops at the moment. Plus the usual WTF songs that nobody remembers!
I bought the cassette versions. Just over a year before the first 'Now That's What I Call Music' was released which I think made the buy 1 get 1 free concept redundant.

Yes, I think they wrote the later stuff by which time they were past their commercial peak. 'Fox on the Run' was a biggie that they wrote themselves. (I think).
