Are these guys the punk Stray Cats?

That lead singer in particular looks INTENSE.
The Stray Cats if they had reinvented themselves!

I couldn't remember what Theatre of Hate looked like. It's all coming back to me now.
A band that couldn't have existed without styling mousse.

never understood the love for Theatre of Hate/Spear of Destiny. I used to go to a goth indie club in the 80s and everyone raved about them

I believe he's trying a bit too hard.
Boy George would probably agree with you...

Musically I'm liking OMD a bit more on another listen. His voice doesn't appeal to me though. Or his naff dancing.

Not the most complex keyboard playing you'll ever see from Paul Humphreys.

How can so many people sway out of sync with each other.

Love this tune, but Andy McCluskey's dad dancing is annoying.

That's some pretty intense singing on those opening two songs, and more to come after a brief rockabilly excursion!

The Jets 2nd and final Top 40 hit. It feels like they had much more. Probably something to do with being featured on TOTP's 6 times with the 2 singles.

I'm guessing the producer of Blockbusters saw this performance and paid very close attention to the dancers in front.
