This still sounds so good. Pishes all over the remake from a few years back.

Another studio performance with Peel on 18th November. I think it's a new performance although not 100% sure.

He'll never catch any fish jigging about like that.

Yes, but I can't tell you the amount of films he saved me from watching. To think, the amount of nudity, violence and swearing I could have seen had I not heeded his sage VHS advice......

I hope Roland Orzabal never got to direct traffic at a busy junction.

Mad World sounds a bit too fast here. Oh thanks Gary Jules.

Now there's a shot suitable for a Hallowe'en show.

Production on Mad World is very "new" for 1982. Can't imagine a song sounding like this in 1981.

Bates handling a horny "young friend" there.

Personally I truly loathe the Gary Jules version. Don't know what people see in it.

Apart from TFF, this episode is much the kind of thing I'd be expecting to see in 1985. I'm not looking forward to 1985.

These progs are a great reminder of things that passed us by. "Love's Coming At Ya" - I just don't remember this at all.

Kudos to the person who said the other week that this Melba Moore track sounded like proto-Five Star. It certainly does, although I hadn't thought of the comparison before.

I like the attempt at robotic dancing by Melba.

Drop this song a couple of semitones and you get Raw Silk's song from earlier.

Let's petition a Crimes Against Music Act.

Love's Comin at Ya isn't really disco, it's more like a combination of dance/funk/R&B.
