'Only You' by Yazoo is brilliant. The B side 'Situation' is even better.
Agreed! How the hell that ever got relegated to a B-side has always baffled me. Totally should have been a single in its own right. Actually, I think it was some years later, but should have been back in '82.

I wish it was 1982 again. Forgotten how good it all was.

TOTP and Fame now that was a good night of TV.

If they don't show the guy on stilts dancing to Echo and the Bunnymen performing 'The Back Of Love' in this section, I'll be very disappointed.

'Young Guns' is a much better song than I think people give credit for.
A great song.

I wonder why Craig Fairbrass didn't agree to be interviewed for this show?

Kids from Fame is one of my fave series, I have the DVDs shame they stopped too early releasing them.

She must have been quite old, as she was the choreographer of the Monkees 1968 movie Head.

I don't think anyone of the cast can sing what was in a sense the lead vocal of Starmaker as well Debbie did in the video from the song. Don't think Erica or Valerie's voices compare

I like the performance used in the series when the teacher retires.

Jeffrey D did it much better than MJ. And yet MJ is often credited as having invented it. Ridiculous.

So Pigbag make the wildcard appearance in the 1982 Story Of show, following on from the Piranhas in 1980 and Beggar and Co in 1981.

Just visible on the left of that page - the story about the Thompson Twins reducing to a trio!
