Apparently "A Different Life" is now not going to be shown tonight, it's George Michael Live instead.

Anyone seen a link for the Yewtreed episode between tonight's two yet?

I did see one last night, although it was incomplete. Will post it later if no one else beats me to it.

The live show was also going to be shown but has been moved to an earlier slot - replacing 'A Different Life'.

Strictly Ballroom was dropped but has been put back in.

Actually, if 30th December appears as well, tonight's viewing could consist of 5 episodes of TOTP

That first one is a shocking decision given that there are two other obvious candidates from the first show that will also be in the second. One of the best songs of the year that will now not get a 7:30 showing.

If this is a "tribute" night,I would hate to see what they would do if they didn't actually like George

I agree it's disappointing, but I can only assume that there is some rights issue with the documentary they planned to show (e.g. something that needs clearing before it can be shown again).

I'd hope there would be a better and more extensive documentary to follow - or at least a good clips show that features his performances at the Mandela, Freddie Mercury and AIDS benefits that he did …*all of which are top notch performances.

Final section of 1982 tonight - doesn't half seem to have gone quickly, doesn't it?

Nice strings but otherwise entirely forgettable, and I did.

Urgh, this sounds like a Musicians Union-mandated re-recording - albeit with live vocals.

As far as I'm aware the first one is missing the JK section, the second one includes this but they both cut off before the end.

Good evening everyone.

Congratulations to the Musicians' Union on wrecking this fantastic song by insisting on it being re-recorded.

The proper version sounds fantastic, especially with the volume turned up loud.
