Help please

My sonos has stopped connecting to the router I have a sky router which I have reset together with the sonos, I use an iPhone to set up but when I get to the selecting sonos on the wifi and put the password in it dosnt connect, the sonos and router are close ???

When in doubt go back to basics.

Start off by putting the Play 3 next to the router and use an Ethernet cable just to check basic functionality with a wired connection. Next, update the Sonos firmware (which should now be possible with a wired connection). Make sure too that the Sonos controller software is up-to-date on your iPhone.

Now set up a new wireless password for your router and make it something simple so that it can't possibly be typed wrong. You can always change this later on to enhance security, but for the time being you're just getting Sonos working and testing that there are no other issues so go with something simple while as a temporary measure. Make sure your router also has WiFi 802.11b and g enabled as well as anything faster for the rest of your network.

Finally, remove the Ethernet cable and run through the Sonos connection routine.

If what Chris suggests fails to work, try connecting the Sonos on a friend or relatives network to see if it connects ok.

If you have no problems here, then the issue is your network and possible the sky router.

If all else fails the guys at Sonos support will help diagnose your issue for you.
