i had an old Acer Iconia A1-810 tablet that had a 7.9" screen, which I gave to a friend. Saved him having to carry his laptop from room to room. They love it.
I look at the Acer website from time to time to see if they have any new technology and saw this model has had a price cut.. It is below your budget..
My old Iconia A1-810 was around £150 when I bought it and this one is way better with regard to size and specification..

I would read the reviews of people who have bought one to see what their user experience of owning it is like..
The only thing that puts me off some tablets, is the habit (some) manufacturers have of not passing on the latest version of android.
Acer is one. My Iconia A1-810's last update was android 4.4.2.
I've read how to do an upgrade to android lollipop using custom rom but knowing my luck i would botch it..
