Peter and Tina
Looks wise: A hot couple Chemistry wise: Awful. I disliked the storyline and I recall I wasn't alone. Paul and Ben were awful as well. I loved Max and Stacey. They were great. One of my fav affairs from a television show ever and I have seen tons of affairs in my time. |

Max and Stacey are easily the best. As much as I loved stacey and Bradley, there was a great chemistry between her and max and up until recently I had been hoping that when max got released maybe they would get together. But she works really well with Martin so I hope they start happy.

I generally loathe affair storylines, so this is hard. I loved Christian/Syed, but mostly because the affair aspect of it was kind of the least of it, it was more about family conflict and religion than the morals of cheating. The cheating was more incidental to the story that EE wanted to tell, so that's probably why I liked it so much.
The fallout of Max and Stacey's affair was amazing, but the actual affair was pretty dull and repetitive iirc. They had fantastic chemistry though. For Corrie, I also enjoyed Carla/Liam, but, again, mostly for the fallout and drama that came from it rather than the actual affair part of it. As for worst. Where do I start? Will stick to EE and I watch that the most: Derek/Kat (so glad this happened largely offscreen, despite the 'who's the shagger' plot potentially being EE's worst ever plot) Glenda/Ian Glenda/Phil Masood/Jane (not a full affair but still awful) Phil/Dawn (I'm still scarred) Jane/Grant So many others... yeah, affair storylines tend to come around when the writers have run out of ideas for couples, so they tend to suck. |

Both reveals were done in a similar way as well: Max & Stacey with a DVD played at Christmas and Phil & Sharon with a cassette played in The Vic at Phil & Kathy's engagement party. |

As dull as the Debbie / Ross affair was, the reveal when the tape of Debbie & Ross was played at the wedding was brilliant, followed by the Helicopter crash, that was great viewing imo.

A significant amount of bad ones in recent times spring to mind.
Kat/Derek- ridiculous mystery shagger SL and more screen time for the odious Derek, Kat going round in circles Roxy/Charlie and Stacey/Kush for being unnecessary and damaging to the characters involved Molly/Kevin, need I go into detail on this one The absolutley woeful Karl/Sunita Peter/Tina- Boring, lacking in chemistry, kickstarting a repetitive cycle for Peter. Urgh! |

EE's David & Cindy was good. Ian the Weasel wailing "Turn it off!!" when he heard taped evidence of the pair of them at it, was hilarious.
Previous posts have already covered my choices for the worst affairs. |
