Soundbar help
lamby

Hey

I Currently have a 5.1 setup. But looking at getting a Soundbar instead due to room issues and the fact we never normally watch 5.1 movies. I have a Yamaha NSSW200 sub that I would like to use.

Do most/all Soundbars allow you to plug in an external Sub?

I'd be connecting 1-2 devices via optical or HDMI.

Any recommendations under £300?

Thanks

If they do, then it's normally only the supplied one - any sub should be matched to the rest of the system, you can't usually add a different one.

Many soundbars come with wireless subs as well, so it wouldn't work in that case either.

Actually have decided to keep my current setup but just have the front small speakers and centre speaker in use. Least then if circumstances chance I could go back to 5.1.
