It may not sound great byut things like this can turn out well.

My mam invented a thing called dinner soup which was the the roast dinner chopped up in a bowl and had lots of gravy,


She also had another dish called Gipsy Fry (for some unknown reason) which was the roast dinner chopped up and fried like hash.

As I said earlier in the thread, the best corned beef hash I've ever had was in a New York diner. However, sliced corned beef is slightly different to what we get here and is more of a slow cooked cured beef and is more like salami.

I've seen some videos showing what they call "corned beef" in the US and it looks gorgeous, nothing like the stuff in tins
