I reckon the floor probably collapses and that's how he's found. But he might not even be there, what with this being a soap, the twist could be that he escaped and isn't even dead!!

Then maybe he gets back with Kylie and they leave together with the kids? Well, her and David ARE obviously splitting up. I always wondered if she would end up with Callum again at some point since he's Max's dad

I dunno!!! I read in a magazine that someone is watching Sarah at Callum's funeral, and I think it's him. And when the police show up on the street, I dunno why but I can picture him watching behind a corner to stun the viewers when they realise he survived Kylie bashing him over the head with a wrench!!!

If he isn't dead, it just proves how far fetched soaps are!!!

I thought it was supposed to be a blocked main drain that the water board had to dig up and the Tilsleys couldn't prevent it.

But the funeral has been filmed and spoilers say that David, Kylie and Sarah are questioned. I dont think the twist is that he's not dead, just that an unexpected chain of events lead to the discovery.

I know but I just edited my post and it says in a magazine that someone is watching Sarah from afar at his funeral and think it might be him? Just to shock the viewers

I honestly think Callum will show up at his own funeral

I originally thought this, but then there is a trailer of David opening the manhole and being overwhelmed by the smell. Even if there is a theory that it isn't Callum's body, there is a preview clip of them getting confronted by the police who say that Callum's credit card was found in the manhole?

Yeah that's the only bit that makes me doubt it too. Unless someone nicked his credit card off him. Cos surely someone was after him, right? I think he owed someone money. So maybe whoever he owed got his bank details and took his credit card?

When David opens the manhole and starts borking, I don't think Callum will be inside though

The trailer leading up to Callum's death showed them running through the streets and ending up standing on the edge of a precipice. But that never happened.

In order for David to look down the manhole, the floor will already have been taken up. So that might not happen either.

And if the water board has to dig it up for a blocked drain, Tony wasn't much of a builder because he said it was no longer in use and was left over from the old factory before it was rebuilt so there was no need to do anything with it except cover it with cement..

I think the floor will collapse in the annex. "They're going to find Callum's body" David says in the trailer, which leads me to think that the floor will collapse, and the emergency services go in or something.

Just found the reference in the archive where Tony says that as it's a disused drain from the old factory, there's a cheap option of just covering it with concrete and a more expensive option of excavating and filling it. Gail opts for the cheaper option.

So it can only be that the floor collapses and nothing to do with a blocked drain - if Tony was right.

I think it's something to do with Tracy trying to get out the factory. She disturbs something which affects the Platts extension.

If Callum turns out not to be dead that could well be me done with Corrie after 45 years!!!

This would be a clever link between the main storylines of the wedding and Callum's body!

That would be one saving grace if Callum wasn't down there.... if they were to discover Tracy's lifeless body buried under the rubble after the floor collapsed!!!


Even then they would probably find some way to bring the evil gurning bitch back!!!!

I can't believe some people still think Callum is alive! When David looks into the manhole, he gags at the smell from it, if Callum wasn't there there wouldn't be any smell as he wouldn't have stayed in there long enough, and even if he had, it wouldn't be a stomach churning stinking rotten corpse smell as he wouldn't be dead.

Callum could have got out, had an altercation with Denton and killed him then put him in the hole! But no, even I think Callum is likely dead now and I was one of the people thinking he might come back!

Hasn't anybody noted tonight that half the Platt family are ill and won't be going to the wedding?

The only names I heard mentioned being ill were Max and Tim & Sally!!

Maybe after finding out about Carla/Rob, Nick goes to the Platts house and in his rage smashes up Gail's annex leading to the concrete falling through (explainable with dodgy materials and shoddy work)

Yes! My fiancé mentioned it. I definitely think it means something, but I can't think what exactly that might be yet.
