Young Ballroom Dancers
I know this is slightly off topic, but what do you think of young ballroom dancers. I've found a few online that maybe in 15 years time, could be on Strictly.

none of them British maybe some of the ones on later videos could be on DWTS others not even ballroom and latin dancers - there are talented British kids out there that could be on SCD one day if it is still around - Triston/Bob Windsor/Cliftons/Cutler/Waite were all talented juniors in their day

These two dance very successfully for England as juniors. One of the advantages of greater European integration I think.
. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=X5iwzRv2gRY. Edit: Mia is English evidently but Andrei's Romanian.Glenn Boyce is an extremely successful Junior Ballroom and Latin dancer (world champion). Not sure who he dances with now. (Edit: Caroly Janes evidently). Don't think we have any especially notable juveniles at present? Might be wrong. Of course there may be some very good non competitive dancers. |

If you search "ballroom" "latin" or "blackpool" with the terms "junior" or "juvenile" you will be more likely to find you competitive ballroom and latin dancers like on strictly, OP.
This is quite a good one; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCP2RfmUmhY It's long, but shows the sheer amount of competitors you get at these competitions. There are like 4 heats for each dance, and each time the dancefloor is heaving. This is why I never buy black dresses, lol. The dancers will be under 16 in this video, I believe. In juvenile I think they are under 12? Does anyone have videos of Kevin and Jo competing as juveniles? They used to dance together, right? |
