make a bloody decision when faced with two acts to decide between. Clearly all the judges were torn between the final two acts last night and none of them wanted to pick one over the other as both were quite emotional acts, but all three did but when it came to Simon, he wimped out and let the public decide. I don't believe for one second after what he said about the female singer after she sang, that he didn't prefer her more, plus she had the whole cleaning toilets and emotional dad back story, but clearly didn't want to send home the mother and son act. Grow some balls! or let the public decide every night. He does the same in X factor. Earn your huge salary and make a decision!

I agree. You should vote for who you personally want to go through and whether that results in a final decision, then so be it. By sending it to the public's choice, you are still choosing someone over the other act, which is something I don't think the judge's understand

But because they always go from left to right, Simon virtually always ends up with the casting vote. He has a more difficult decision than the others.

They should all vote beforehand and announce the votes one by one.

A bit like Blankety Blank.

Yes that would be fairer, because the judges are influenced by how the others are voting. But from the producers point of view, that probably wouldn't create enough drama!

I think it should just be a public vote.

I've always said that.... For all these types of shows. Stops anyone being swayed.

Cowell seems to be getting worse with each series.

On top of the voting thing there's been the theme this year of them saying, "We've no idea what you're going to do.", then for one audition he looks at his notes and asks her to sing another specific song.

He went weird tonight with Another Kind of Blue when he said we need to believe it's magic so the tech guys should stay off stage, except we'd already seen them in the VT and auditions.

He also seemed to refuse to clap for acts tonight he would then give glowing comments about. One act, none of the judges applauded, then they gushed over them when talking about them.

Strange.

The Dark Lord likes to be the centre of attention. I am shocked that he doesn't get a casting vote like Len Goodman

I also think the golden buzzer act is a bit annoying. I like the fact that a good act gets straight through to the semi's but then the judge who picks them and partly the rest of the judges feel they need to vote for them to get to the final and they get a prime position on the show (last few acts to perform unless it is one of David's of course!).

I did enjoy Boogie Storm but the other dance act (group of guys from college with suits and hoodies) were much more talented, creative and original but they didn't even get a look in as Simon was pushing for Boogie Storm who are a one joke act imo. The other act were on first so never stood a chance.

No doubt Amanda's gold buzzer will be given prime spot when she is on too.
