Euro 2016 - Who's Your Money On?
So, who do you fancy to walk off with the title on July 10th?
Not really fancying either the Spanish or Germans this time out for some reason. If they click then it might be hard to see past the home nation, France. Outside bet? Poland maybe? |

If I had to pick one now I'd go with France. Their squad is ridiculous and they've got home advantage, but at the same time they're just as likely to have a mass brawl over who weed on the toilet seat. I've got a weird feeling about Croatia and Iceland to do alright.

After doing a Euros predictor the other day, I surprised even myself by apparently predicting Belgium to do Russia in the final.
Regardless, there's always someone unexpected who goes on a great run at the Euros. |

Regardless, there's always someone unexpected who goes on a great run at the Euros. If they can stay a happy camp then France will take some stopping in their own back yard and the Germans are bound to switch in to tournament mode again. as an outsider Austria might be a decent bet to reach the last 8 or last 4. they had an excellent qualifying campaign and have a favourable group. |

Germany. Would be happy for them to do it if its not going to be any of the home nations.

france & germany are the obvious choices... don't fancy spain or italy at all...
might be the chance for a denmark or greece type winner again... croatia look decent, as do poland. if belgium click they have certainly have the players to win this... |

My bet is a Spain v France final, which could well go either way!

France are missing Benzema and haven't called up Gameiro. They have problems in defence as Varane is missing due to injury. The home crowds will help them of course.
If all goes to plan, think they end up in a semi with Germany. We know how those ones end

If we're talking dark horses, Austria wouldn't be the worst punt in the world.
I do fancy France though. |

Another vote for France, though I tip Portugal and dare I say it England as dark horses.

Germany, all day long.
France as second favourites. England to get through the group, and then fall at the first knock-out hurdle. |

The bookies have lots of good offers on for the euros. Lots of discussions about the best offers and how to use them on the first betting pages here =>http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showt...095306&page=40

France look like a strong squad but they could collapse under the weight of expectation of being at home rather than thrive on it. Germany are always strong too and Italy are due another good tournament after a poor World Cup. I think Belgium may be strong semi-dark horses though with a very impressive array of talent in all positions.

My money's on Germany. I bet on them last week when I first saw Sky Bet's offer (and mentioned it in the betting thread). So it'll be in my interest to see them win games. If England want to win it they'd be more than welcome to, of course!

Everyone seems to be in awful form.
Spain/France/Germany just because there's literally no one else. |

Another vote for France. Home advantage, strong squad and nice results during the 15/16 season. Won away against Portugal, Denmark and Netherlands, at home to Serbia, Armenia, Germany and Russia. All friendly games of course, but they didn't play any qualifiers.
Their only blip lately was losing to England but that was right on the back of the Paris attacks and I can forgive them that. They did have a bit of a ropey few results at the end of 14/15 season, losing to Brazil, Belgium and Albania although that seems to have passed. |

Germany is definitely going to be in the semifinals come what may. France are favourites on paper (what a blow to Platini if they did win it in France!) but let's not discount Spain. I would hate for some rubbish small team to win it.

If England don't win it, then I'd rather see someone like Albania win it than the usual suspects. |

Because I hate it. I see nothing romantic in rubbish teams playing awful football winning it because they out-uglied the better teams or big teams self-destructed. To me, it's just a sign of the poor quality of the tournament. I'm not a fan of the "underdog" at all, which is why I still shudder when I think of Euro 2004 or World Cup 2002 (bar the end result).
