I'm starting to think that Dr. Bailey has been setting up Belle for months now, always intending to frame her for his wife's murder. By all indications she's an heiress of some sort-I doubt that fabulous house was bought on his salary-and he's been after her fortune since he married her. He can use Belle's mental health history/Gemma's murder and the stalker angle to make his dream come true.

Jermaine is a doctor and Belle is his 17 yr.old patient with mental health problems. In real lifr. when/if he is found out, he would not only be struck off the medical register, but given a prison term as well. The same goes for teachers or anyone else in a job with duty of care. I hope the producer has researched this story properly.

Now that would be good they mad much of Dr Bailey's parents struggling to put him through his degree. Maybe he's s paying huge debts and married her for money/ life insurance policy?

Belle is underage because Dr Bailey is in a position of trust and has a duty of care. In these circumstances, it raises to 18 and she has mental health issues, so when she is 18, she'll be classed as a vulnerable adult.

I can think of two big reasons.

I totally agree with a previous post that surely Cain would have guessed that Dr Bailey was lying about Belle stalking him as he didn't sound convincing! Quite right that Cain would have saw through his lies straight away. Cain isn't an idiot!

I think he wasn't sure what to believe and first, and he was skeptical because of Belle's past mental health issues, also combined with the fact that you wouldn't believe that a doctor would do something like that.

I hope Belle records a conversation they have or something, or she finds out that Emma knows about it and gets her to back up her story, she can't go on like this.

I'm guessing this storyline has concluded now, It hasn't featured all this week.
