We should beat Wales. They just aren't a good team apart from Bale.
Anything less than 7 pts from this group is a disgrace. |

Still, I will be fully behind the team, and willing them to go ahead of Wales in the table. |

No I have never said such a thing, I have said that it will be a tough match, and one in which we will do well to come away with a win, that is very different from saying that we have no chance.
That's not the sound of a tough match, that's a hiding to nothing. That's how you'd describe Northern Ireland playing Germany, not England playing Wales. |

You said "We will be very lucky to get anything from Wales"

I can't imagine why that journalism career didn't take off.

And because you're a 30 year old man with an understanding of language that would embarrass a 10 year old.

We should have beaten that Russian side, unfortunately being a better team on paper doesn't always pan out in reality.
Still, I will be fully behind the team, and willing them to go ahead of Wales in the table. Realistic target: To survive the fans and get out of the flipping group |

Germany and Spain always seem to manage to squeeze a win in those situations though... that's a fundamental difference.

They are 4th favourites so getting knocked out by one of top 3 in a competitive game would be fair result.
If they win group portugal 1/4 finals and germany semis if the come 2nd then france in 1/4 finals if they come 3rd then germany or spain in 2nd round Obviously dependent on these teams winning their games. I have a bet on germany and england, I think england could do it. No one is particularly good this year |

I agree it is an open tournament, and so far no one has stood out from the pack, even Germany had their issues against Ukraine.
Saying that though, I would still be shocked if England got to say the semi finals. |
