Did we really need to listen to Martins speech in full? Who knew something could be both vomit and yawn inducing at the same time?
Ian's attitude towards Bobby is really confusing. It's either all or nothing. One minute he's prepared to do whatever it takes to protect him from the police, the next it appears he wants to disown him. All thanks to a 30 second pep talk from Mick. There's no middle ground or gradual shift, it's one extreme to the other in the time it takes to walk across the square.”

Yes I completely agree, especially the last part. Another example: Phil had decided last week to help Peggy after he spoke to Ian and realised he didn't want him mum to be remembered as skin and bones. Then he does a complete turnaround for no apparent reason.
The writers really need to keep the characters consistent. I hope the new boss is more successful in that area because the inconsistency drives me nuts.

has criticised Corrie and actually praised EastEnders... all in the same sentence. Woah! If anyone knows what Ian is normally like you would understand why I'm shocked (Corrie never could do wrong to him in past times and he constantly criticised EE)...
