This JP is a proper a**hole when he wants to be, and he is being a jerk to Scott.

But anything that breaks up JP and Scott is welcome to me (even though I fear it won't last, cos they are portraying Scott as the sympathetic party)

Ste must be vers, as he has to top with Harry, and probably topped when he was with JP too. James is most likely top with JP, but JP would have to top with Scott, as I can't imagine Scott being much cop. Brendan really does seem the only one who is genuinely top, but I guess James is too.

JP also used to top with Craig (confirmed by the actors in interviews. They said the way the directors positioned them in scenes or pictures was to give that impression).

So the HO gays seems to be moslty versatile!

BiB I don't think they work well at all. James is mentally and physically abusive, the very last thing JP in particular needs. I don't think there is a decent match for JP at all in the current character list.

James is my fave character i'm considering starting watching Oaks again for him! He suits JP much better than the dreadful Scott too.

I quite like James too. I think deep down he just needs a big hug from Mac so he can let out all his pent up emotions.

I don't like James, he's mean to people just for the sake of it. I hate this sort of people in RL and I hate them in soap. Although given the mommie dearest he probably still turned out pretty well, darling

So did I, I'm really enjoying the direction Jessica and Ashley are taking Nancy and Darren in at the moment. Those two are so good at banter. I hope it continues

The worst thing about this pairing is that it brings out nothing good about JP at all. Ok he is furious with Myra, Sally and Scott at the moment and his fling or whatever with James is to directly or indirectly punish them (Scott by going with somebody else, Sally by bunking off work etc).

James is turning JP into the kind of loathsome creature JP would despise if confronted by himself. Wearing a jacket and tie to work and being able to use words of more than two syllables doesn't make that pairing any more suitable than any of JP's other recent pairings.

Further to my last post, where I said I can't think of any suitable pairing for JP in HO at the moment, none of the resident gay men around suit each other do they?
