EE Ben's reaction
Why the hell didn't Ben snap at Bobby after finding out he killed his Niece and tried to kill Jane?

Every person involved in this has acted terribly. Obviously its the way its been scripted but this is not sending out a good message about the morality of people.
It seems society seems to have taken child protection way too far and I think EE should do the right thing now and show the audience that actions deserve consequences, even for a child. Its a very sick storyline the way this has been handled and is one of the worst I think in the history of soaps. |

He reaction out of all doesn't surprise me, too him, he is Bobby he knows what will happen and he probably is lacking like many a though process of what Bobby has done.

Its ridiculous that they all know yet arn't telling the police to protect that stupid brat, even members of Maxes own family, you would think one of them would be decent and moral enough, if it was just Ian and Jane that knew then fair enough that would adleast make sense, BUT LAUREN AND LIAM????

He did. He said 'you let me get arrested for it', with his very angry face. He also glared at Sharon when he realized she's known all along. Not a mention of Max though.

Complete rubbish! He's ruined so many characters and families, I actually feel SOC has a job on to redeem so many of the cast given what damage DTC has done to half of it. |

I was more surprised at Jack's reaction, he didn't even care enough to probe knowing his Brother is rotting away inside.

It's, obviously, because he killed Heather when he was younger and can feel for Bobby in a weird way

Complete rubbish! I did laugh at that bit. I bet even Keeble will ruffle his hair and give him some milk and cookies. |

Its a very sick storyline the way this has been handled and is one of the worst I think in the history of soaps. This was set up as a 12 month who dunnit. Having Bobby as the killer meant that an adult had to have been involved as well. It over complicated the storyline far too much. Jane Beale lugging and dumping Lucy on the common was just terrible. Forensics make the whole thing stupid anyway. There would have been evidence of a cadaver in the Beale front room and also in Jane car boot. Even then If they had left it as Bobby having done it and the case unsolved for a long period of time then they could just about have got away with it. BUT having a ever growing list of folks knowing Bobby did it but doing nothing made it ridiculous. Then the Max stuff took it off the scale. How the hell they are going to get out of this without Jane and Ian as a minimum going to jail is unclear. Unless Jane dies of course. I enjoyed the storyline up to the reveal in live episode. |

It's a soap, if morality was an issue you would all be moaning the soaps are too boring they are in a no win situation no matter what they do
It was borderline acceptable the original storyline and Bobby being the killer. However what has happened since with so many cover ups and concluding with this vicious attack is not in keeping with any soap IMO. Its been overdone for sensationalism, I think DTC did this knowing the fallout and that's why he got out when he did. Its wrong on so many levels and you can do good drama without overstepping the mark. This has been handled poorly, I think you can see from the comments, we can't all be wrong! |

No, there is a line that you shouldn't overstep when it comes to drama, and that shown for families at before the watershed.

Hated Ben for his reaction, just because he was on the inside.
The sheer number of people trying to protect that demon is baffling. Jane has morphed into an even bigger mug than Dot was over Nick. The Beales and the Mitchells have behaved like completely heartless scum this whole time. |

I thought his reaction was quite typical of Ben. Furious at Ian and Sharon, quite rightly, although Sharon didn't know when Ben was locked up, did she? Because Phil thought he was guilty so surely they didn't find out until after? I can't remember. But his attitude towards Bobby I felt was quite realistic, they never have scenes together but they are family, he's Bobby's uncle and he probably saw history repeating itself and wanted to help.
