Are we so used to bad writing and characters behaving amorally now that people genuinely don't find the behaviour of Ian, Jane, Phil, Sharon and Kathy shocking? (Also Lauren, Peter, Liam, Cindy and the bent cop).
Ian and Phil have always had the capacity to be bastards but this was low even for them. Alice was no "victim" either. She agreed to go along with Michael's plan to drug/kill Janine with little persuasion because she fancied him. Alice was certainly no victim, but she didn't go through with Michael's plan in the end and confessed all to Janine. She was naive and stupid, and conned by Michael who, let's not forget, was a very manipulative man. But in the end her conscience came through. She was not guilty of murder. Quote:
Those expecting Max to exact some kind of genius revenge plot against those who wronged him are going to be in for a disappointment. Max is an enormous wimp and if he does manage to get revenge the backlash from Phil will make a year in prison seem like a long holiday.

Max's karma was Phil swindling The Arches back along with the car lot which caused Max to lose his house.
What Phil did on top of that was over the top and sick, and not something the Phil of 20 years ago would have done. |

It doesn't absolve them at all. But Max being in jail after he schemed to get his own niece locked up is karma. Straight up.
Let's hope for karma for all those who kept quiet about Bobby, enabling him to go on and strike again. |

I'm completely and utterly gobsmacked at how bad this storyline has become. It's a real shame coming off the back of the excellent Peggy week.
It just beggars belief, it really does. Max told half the square that Bobby killed Lucy as the police were dragging him away. Fine so at that time people wrongly thought that Max was just trying to cover up his own crime. Now six months later Bobby walks into a pub full of the same people, with a hockey stick and shirt dripping in blood and freely admits to killing Jane and Lucy, whilst Jane is carted off in an ambulance and STILL hardly anyone thinks that he did it?!? Even his own brother doesn't seem remotely interested?! How much more evidence do the good people of Albert Square actually need before they stop saying "oh he's just a little boy, he doesn't know what he's saying" the same little boy that's just walked in covered in blood! And as for all the people covering up for his crimes. I hope the police arrest the whole lot of them. So many good characters have been thrown under a bus for this terrible, terrible storyline. |

Fan favourites are being criticised for their behaviour in this storyline. Dump on Max and make it his fault.
Den and Ang will be turning in their graves.
