Kind of ruins the illusion of being in the heart of East London when you can see open countryside in the background!!

Yes, I don't know why they had so many shots wide open like that, the surroundings look nothing like East London.

yes, Borehamwood .....

but that tube train we sometimes see on the bridge, must have been put there digitally. Been on the road often enough and never seen it for real, bridge being the "closest" to the entrance. crikey, would get the shock of my life if I did. Something else, the area is on the flight path for Heathrow - and maybe Luton too - so you HEAR planes virtually non-stop when you stand outside at the entrance for hours on end. Pretty sure they filter the noise away for outdoor scenes.

To be fair, Stratford and the surrounding parts of the East End are right under Heathrow Approach, and London City airport is only a couple of miles away too. Plane noise wouldn't be that unusual to be true to life, though obviously bad for filming.

Those rolling green hills did look absolutely ridiculous in all the wide shots, though

Whatever way to travel into Borehamwood you pass shrubbery. It's not exactly central!

I'm beginning to think this reality show is staged ...just like The only Geordie is David Essex .....Some things aren't adding up to me

It's more like where it is filmed.

They probably intended to CGI a skyline but had no time. These episodes had whack production schedules.

I was just disappointed that they didn't jump off.
