But knowing how lazy the writers are your wish may very well come true.”

The problem I have with the feud with Carla is that it goes round in circles and I felt the few interactions Tracy has had with Leanne have been more interesting than her entire feud with Carla.

I also don't think Tracy hating on Audrey would be a repeat of the Nessa stuff, the Barlows and Platts have a checkered history with each other so I could see Tracy taking an issue with this relationship in a more meaningful way than the Nessa stuff.

I am glad she is making Carla suffer. Carla is a pathetic, sniveling excuse for a human being who does terrible things but plays the victim card, brings up her crap deceased mother and hits the booze and gets instant forgiveness. No doubt the likes of Robert and Nick will be made out to be the villains when all is exposed, while Carla mopes around with Michelle and her odious family chasing after her.

I agree, Carla loves to self destruct and takes no responsibilities for her actions, she does need to pay but the feud with Tracy is getting old.

I can't stand her. I think they missed an opportunity to develop her character when Deirdre's died. She could have been shown as more vulnerable and Robert returning could have seen her soften her attitude.

Instead we'very had another year of feuds, blackmail, plotting, smirking and just general outrageous behaviour from her and people still give her the time of day. Ken just tuts and shakes his head and there are no long term consequences! I'm still fuming that she got the Bistro.
I just wish they'd stop rehashing the same old codswallop, either write her better or get rid!

There's no story, it just started when she was born in the hospital. They didn't have private rooms. The baby in the bed beside her glanced over and Tracy shouted "WHAT ARE YOU LOOKIN' AT YA SONOFABITCH". She was just born feisty.

Tracy shouldn't be the one making Carla pay. It's laughable that Tracey thinks she's entitled to do so.

Well who should make her pay then? Leanne or maybe Simon for making his dad leave town? Although Mini Ike Turner harassing Carla could be entertaing

Tracey Barlow is a pathetic saddo. That only thing she has going on in her life is her silly childish fueds with people. Every character in corrie has such a small sad little life and this is because the writing is terrible

Tracy is venal, nasty, vindictive, thoroughly unpleasant and would kick away Tiny Tim's crutches if it helped her.

Which is why I love her.

I like Tracy, and it's not a secret. The thing with Carla is so dull though - I can't wait for it to end. Tracy's scenes with Todd and with Amy are my favourites at the moment - and I love her with Johnny too.

Yeah I guess she isn't evil, but I'm sick of her going into self destruct mode and playing the victim.

I think Kate Ford does a cracking job of making me hate Tracey Barlow so much lol Can't stand the character, no redeeming qualities, whenever she apologies to people its never sincere. Sadly shes more pantomiine than villain for me. In real life she wouldn't be given the time of day let alone have guy after guy and a healthy love life. I can understand Amy and her parents loving her regardless, but anyone else on the street? I don't like nasty people and sadly Tracey is boring jealous and a nasty person and repeats all past mistakes, a regular human being tries to learn from past errors and do actually find enjoyment from people been happy

Yes, that is one of Tracy's many annoying traits.

I was talking about Carla. I love Tracy, the only thing she's done wrong IMHO is stay with that loser Robert

I agree with that. She should have told Nick immediately about Robert

I know you were. I was being facetious.

Tracy is a tiresome, badly-acted waste of space. I don't even like Carla that much and I'm glad she is leaving. But I think Tracy has been terrible, and not in a remotely entertaining way, for many years.

Remember, Tracey is the best thing to happen to Weatherfield since 2000 years (best line evaaa in soap!)

LOL ok, it went right over my head. I think you just don't like the type of character Tracy is, you have similar feelings about Charity right?

The thing is she was never like this until the character returned in 2002. Yes,she was a moody, stroppy teen- but in quite a believable way for someone of that age. And even that element of her personality had faded during her last few appearances when played by Dawn Acton.

Tracy is the best of a bad bunch.
No disrespect but most of the Corrie characters are boring but Tracy livens things up.

I love Tracey. Kate's acting has really improved over the last few years.

The best thing they ever did was pairing her with Rob - I think it's a terrible shame they wrote him out as they could have drove each other crazy for years.

Robert is entirely wrong for her though - he just wants a quiet life and that'll bore Tracey silly.

I quite like her friendships with Beth and Todd. Tracey was always lacking a friend.
