Nothing signposted on the PL Twitter account. I was thinking we might get them middle of next week.

This bit is interesting: Quote:
Exclusive to Irish customers on Sky Sports 5, they will make up 33 of the 159 English top flight fixtures being shown live this season.
Did Setanta used to show a game on the final day of the season? Presumably the game picked will be a fourth or fifth pick depending upon what else Sky and possibly BT pick.

So is there a way of getting the Irish EPG here in the UK?

You'll be able to tune in the Irish version via Other Channels, but your card won't decrypt it. |

But I assume there is a way that probably couldn't be discussed here?
Which means you have to live there, of course. |

It is/was pretty much always an utter dead rubber; although Setanta were lucky enough to get WBA 5 Manchester United 5 - Fergie's final game as manager. |

If anything it is Irish subscribers who are losing content; the content that is on in the UK at that time - their subscription does entitle them to see that. |

Irish subscribers also pay more for the Sports pack, so it's not even as if they're getting more for the same or less.

You actually can't compare the two as its not like for like.
Sky Ireland is 67 euros a month for 159 games Sky UK doesn't offer the same package. Its apples & oranges |

I've just been looking at the picks for August and September and I think we may have overlooked something. We've assumed that the West Ham v Southampton game in Week 6 is a Package D or G game. As it is a single game Super Sunday, however, I think that could mean it is a Package C game, which would make a lot of sense from a quota filling point of view.

The packages are precisely the same, apart from 33 extra PL games on Sky Sports in Ireland, these games cannot be shown in the UK.
It's apples and apples. That package is not available to me, a sky customer living in England. |

Sorry to be pedantic. But that means they aren't the same.
