If you read the title of the thread properly you'd note it is a thread to inform of premier league fixtures on tv. Not predictions
I notice you also predicted btw... Quote:
On another note I doubt there will be as many Leicester games as many of you say. |

I'm afraid the point of adding Friday nights was not for the benefit of those in the Champions League. It was added to pad out the Monday night package so that games could be shown in weeks such as those followed by the League Cup.

Maybe so but surely having that fixture a lot available should be utilised as much as possible for teams involved in Champions League.
Chelsea v Man City is a toss up. Assuming that Sky take first pick that week, then it could be Friday or it could be Saturday 12:30. Chelsea have been picked twice in Package E and not at all in Package A, while for Man City it is the reverse. It's worth remembering that Sky can use the Friday slot up to 10 times. They've already used four and not used Package E (I think) in another four weeks (3, 9, 11, 13). In theory, therefore, Sky have only one more pass in Package E, though I have speculated that Sky could show games on a Friday and Monday in the run-in. So with that in mind, it's worth noting that there are couple of weeks coming up where Mondays are off limits. Week 15 is followed by a midweek round of fixtures (I suppose a Thursday could be used, but that's not happened since BT had the midweek games) and Week 19 which has a round of games scheduled on the Bank Holiday. I would expect Sky to show Friday games in both Weeks 15 and 19 so another one in Week 14 would take them to seven with a fair amount of the season to run. |

Im sure I heard one of the SSNHQ presenters say well back that Friday Night Football was going to be once a month, when they began to hype it

Just to correct my earlier statement, Sky have used three Friday nights (not four). So I suppose that makes it a bit more likely that Man City v Chelsea is the Friday night. |

Even though im an Everton fan, im guessing Everton v Crystal Palace, will be one of the weaker Friday Night Football games

I think we were told that we'll be getting December and January fixtures in the next batch of picks. So for what it's worth here's my prediction (BT in bold):

Perhaps, but if they're not going to use it following international breaks - as seems to be the case - then that rules out three weekends preceding the Champions League.
So it more or less becomes the case that Monday Night Football almost always precedes Champions League weeks and Friday Night Football follows them, because although you can't pick the six teams in Europe, you can pick absolutely everyone else. Presumably there'll be the chance for more Monday and Friday matches around December and January when there are fewer teams in the League Cup and there are more blank midweeks with no Champions League. |

You've basically proved my point. Predictions are not confirmed TV games. Simply confuses people and clogs up the thread. If you want to waste time and predict do it elsewhere.
Nowhere is it said this thread is just for confirmed fixtures. |

For those moaning about predicting games that Sky/BT may pick,
People like TLG86 actually works it out with Spreadsheets and what not, and normally gets them fairly spot on |

What's fascinating is that most of us on here share similar ideas about what TV games we'd be picking if it was up to us, but Sky and BT always come up with a surprise or two. |

I think we will only get told about December and Jan 2nd games
The next two weeks in January will be released in the next International break As for the second midweek round, I think they will classify it as a February round of fixtures which for a lot of clubs it could be. Though as it follows FA Cup a few clubs may want to play Tuesday. This gives them more rest for the Saturday Feb 4th game |

I assume these are actually for 14th/15th and 21st/22nd, given that the weekend of 7th/8th is FA Cup 3rd Round...

I have always been puzzled as to why Packages F and G have first picks in them when they are exclusive to that broadcaster. Seems like a waste or am I missing the point? I probably am.

Thanks guys, for a reply to my question earlier, why are sky giving so much build up to Chelsea v Liverpool.
In 2 weeks time when the Super Toffees play Palace, I expect 3 days of coverage It hasnt even been Mentioned yet on Sky Sports News. Unlike the Ryder Cup |

I am a bit surprised they'd put a Premier league match up against the Ryder Cup on a Friday night TBH.
Guess they don't have much of an option when it comes to Saturday/Sunday.. |

I included them for completeness, but yes, the midweeks belong to BT and the bank holidays to Sky.
