Presumably Liverpool - West Ham is the Package D game on Sun 11th then?

Blmey - 3 games in quick succession at home for on TV.
Hopefully the Palace game is a bit better result and quality wise than last season! |

I know BT end up slightly limited as to what Liverpool games they can get, and will probably like to get games close together to drive up subs, but surely they could do better than home games vs WBA and Swansea
I make that just 2 Liverpool picks left for the rest of the season having said that I thought there was a chance they might pass back the NYE pick and Liv vs Man City could have been Friday night football |

Odd having Monday night game not on TV, any reason Sky didn't go with showing a 7:45pm game that day could easily fit it in after the 5:30 game?

Once Sky announced a EFL Game for NYE at 5.30pm, That secured a 5.30pm EPL Game

So Sky have taken Man Utd v Spurs but not Liverpool v Man City which is being played at 17:30 on NYE.

Sky don't just pick Football League games to get one over on BT, they have to show X number of Football League games regardless and what other slots are they going to put them in? There's a Football League game at noon this Sunday, so by that regard you could have said there was DEFINITELY going to be a Premier League match on BT at the same time. But there isn't. |

That means that have to relinquish control of first pick for the other seven weeks with BT passing first pick back to Sky in four of those weeks. |

Not had a detailed look, but a few quick thoughts.
1. I think Picks 1-4 have to be made (i.e. must be used), but bit of a free for all with fifth picks. 2. Either West Ham V Arsenal is a pick 4 (very plausible) for BT and likely (and by this route they got Spurs V West Ham) or else week 2 may have been a first pick by Sky, with Sky really wanting Man Utd on Friday Night Football (less likely). I just cant believe BT will have 4 Arsenal in pack B already 3. Week 3 is still in the tbc category I feel. If BT select Man U V Everton then they only have one weekend Man Utd pick in pack F. Could Hull V Man Utd be a BT first pick? Unlikely, but not implausible 4. Man Utd V Spurs may be a BT pass back (again very unlikely but not out the ques if BT think they get Liv V Spurs later) so Liv V West Ham may be from G? |

I think BT have used six first picks (lei v ars, ars v che, ars v tot, ch v tot, liv v manc, manc v spurs) and only passed back 3 (spurs v liv week, spurs v man city week and sun v ars week) so only six BT weeks? Though on the above, I cant help but think there has been a surprise somewhere! |

I really, really, really, want to believe that BT wouldn't have wasted a first pick on Hull v Man Utd. If they were that desperate to show Man Utd, surely the thing to do would have been to pick Man Utd v Southampton with their first pick in Week 2? I'm fairly sure Liverpool v West Ham is a first pick in Package D. BT have passed up enough big Spurs games to mean that Man Utd v Spurs would be a no brainer if they were offered it. And, for what it's worth, I think Liverpool v Watford in Week 11 is a Package G game. |

I'm fairly sure the first three picks of Week 21 were:
Man Utd v Liverpool - Sunday 16:00 (D1) Tottenham v West Brom - Saturday 12:30 (A2) Leicester v Chelsea - Saturday 17:30 (B3) Everton v Man City looks like a fourth pick in Package C, but I wonder if that is in fact a third pick in Package G? If Southampton v Everton is also a third pick in Package G (and, therefore, Watford v Stoke is a fourth pick in Package D), that would explain why Sky didn't pick Leicester v Everton - they were out of Package G games for Everton. It would also fit with Man City v West Ham being a first pick in Package D. |

I am now of the view that Sky took first pick in Package D in Week 3 to secure Spurs v Liverpool.
I really hope BT didn't waste a first pick on Man Utd too, but was Hull V Man U rating much different from Arsenal V Chelsea? And if Sky did (though again I'm surprised Leicester V Ars wasn't picked if so) go 1,2,3 in week 2, then BT may have felt under pressure to pick Man U/ Sky give BT Arsenal quota problems I still think its feasible BT picked 1st in weeks 2 and 3. Which Man Utd game do you think from BT is from pack F? All are possible! |

Obviously Sky will work this out, and there may be quota issues but surely it would have been played at 1330 on the Sun to get a very good Super Sunday? (Unless they decided to use quota game very early in that slot)

Which Man Utd game do you think from BT is from pack F? All are possible! One possible reason for Sky putting Spurs v Liverpool in the Saturday 12:30 slot might be to give it more high profile games early on to make sure everyone knows that this a slot that you should make time for. I now think Hull v Man Utd is from Package B and Watford v Man Utd is Package F. If I were BT I would definitely want Man Utd v Everton in Week 31. It guarantees them a decent Man utd game quite late on in the season. A few things seem to be falling in to place. Sky not picking Leicester v Everton looks odd to me. And Watford v Stoke just looks like a Package D quota filler. It all points to Man City v West Ham being from Package D. Of course, you may proved right and that Hull v Man Utd was the first pick. EDIT: Having said all of that, it would mean that Chelsea are maxed out in Package D as their game with Southampton would not be from Package G. |

What is now proven for sure
In some weeks Package E games are moved to a Sunday as MNF is not available due to League Cup.midweeks or Internationals. We have already had six blank Mon or Fridays |
