Does anyone else think this body that is found isnt actually Callums? I was reading the spoilers and it say that Sarah sees someone who looks alot like Callum (his ghost supposedly) Also Bethany gets a gift of a secret admirer out of the blue. Callum always used to use/target Bethany to wind the Platts up. Of course it would take some explaining as to how the body found is presumed to be Callum, leading to a funeral. However it is a soap so anything is possible.
By the way this inst just a wishful thinking theory because I like the character because to be honest I didnt think much of him. I just want some kind of twist to happen.

No, I think it will be predictable, corrie under SB has been just that. Remember the live episode where Callum was killed in the first 15 minutes and everyone was waiting for a "big twist?", it never happened.

As me and many others have said over the months, the twist needs to happen not for the character of Callum but for David, Sarah and Kylie. I'm now officially blue in the face (or is that fingers?) with saying this, but implicating three of the show's most important characters in a murder and subsequent concealment of the body is one of the worst moves Corrie has made in years.

I will accept any twist that gets David, Sarah and Kylie out of the hole that they've been written into.

Well both Paula Lane and Ryan Thomas are leaving so if Kylie took full responsibility and says that she was the only one in on it then that would get David and Sarah off the hook. However would the police believe that Kylie alone killed someone of Callums size, carried his body and managed to dump it alone?

Did Callum have any siblings or was he an only child or does no one know?

Yeah I reckon the bloke who was after Callum for money is the dead one, he probably got sick of waiting to be paid so nicked Callum's bank details somehow, and swindled him. Then Callum got out of the drain (somehow) found out what he did and killed him

Then when the police arrive, Callum could be watching round the corner, then show up to his own funeral. Us as viewers keep seeing him, but the characters don't know he's still alive til he shows up at his funeral

The police would have to be very sloppy to misidentify the body mind. Then again it would depend what state it is in.

Nah, I wouldn't put anything past soaps. They seem really far fetched sometimes. More than likely, Callum will be back. Watch this space

Kylie will say she killed him and Tony helped her chuck him down the manhole. He can't defend himself and everyone knows he hates Callum for what he did to Jason. Job done - Paula Lane's exit and David and Sarah get to stay.

I saw a spoiler video where the police confront the Platt's saying Callum's credit card was found on the body so it's unlikely it's anyone else. I don't think it's a "Ross from Emmerdale" situation. I always used to say Callum was alive but as time passes it gets more unlikely, so I'm happy to admit I'm wrong.

I didn't like Callum that much but he did add something...interesting (can't think of a better word to use) to the show. I think Sarah being watched at the funeral and walking past someone who she mistakes for Callum will just be red herrings.

Corrie storylines are far from brain taxing and they don't try to hard to put in twists or shocks these days. I think they'll go for the obvious and blame the dead guy. I think Jason will be blamed for while or even end up in prison for his exit. I'd prefer it if he discovered Phelan was a proper git and drove off the edge of a cliff meaning certain death for the dodgy Scouser but Jason's body vanishing. I hate Phelan.

I can't see it going that way. I really think David would take the rap for Kylie.

I know she's leaving but I don't think Kylie will go down - I think David will do anything to keep her free, even sacrificing himself (or Sarah).
I still think Tony will be implicated somehow. He had motive and opportunity to conceal the body.
My theory is Jason is questioned and Sarah cracks under the guilt and confesses, or partially confesses to Todd. He is torn between saving Jason without sending the Platts down so links Tony to the scene as they burnt out Callum's car.

Tony cannot defend himself, none of the Platts are lost which keeps the door open for Paula to return in the future. The marriage may just crack under the strain or something. Jason then leaves as his Dad is branded a murderer.

If the body is Callums then Gemma is going to back to the old Gemma who was a Skank and will start to terrorise the Platt family as revenge. Maybe she will contact Macca to do the job

I think what will happen is this:

Sarah cracks under the pressure, tells Todd. She then tells Kylie and David and they panic. By now, Jason is prime suspect as there ends up being some CCTV showing him and Tony driving Callum's car. Jason pleads his innocence, Todd and Jason then talk and Todd (protecting Sarah) persuades Jason that his dad COULD have killed Callum which is why they stole the car and burnt it. However, Kylie not knowing that the police have already accepted that it was Tony, then admits to killing him and she gets sent down. Jason leaves because he finds out Todd covered up (not knowing he still is) and after another fall-out with his mum because she honestly believed Tony killed him.

Oooh no, I didn't but that's interesting! I always thought Todd would play some part because of him and Tony burning the car. I can't remember what happened about the car though, when Callum went missing did the police discover the wreckage?
