Is anybody else going to miss scenes between these two? I find them lovely

Give people time to respond. A lot of people on here have jobs and don’t get home from work until after the time you started the thread. Plus there’s then getting dinner ready, housework etc.

But I thought everyone on here was a pensioner/student/hospital patient with all the time in the world, no?

I agree that it's a very endearing friendship, but sadly I fear that Carla will have her final scene with Michelle rather than Roy. Along with Sally and Tim, Carla and Roy's friendship ha seen one of the few things that Blackburn got right.

It's unlikely we'll see many more Carla & Roy scenes

Carla and Roy's friendship is great,I also liked Becky's friendship with 'Royston'

I've never totally bought this relationship. Both are fine actors and made it as believable as possible. But,for me,it didn't have the ring of truth that his relationship with Becky did.

It was a forced friendship linked entirely by Hayley. Over the last few years Carla has needed a quiet word of advice from someone she knows she can't shout and moan at, and he's been that. It was a nice friendship made up of quiet conversations that used to be ten a penny years ago on Corrie.

Plus both actors are/were two of the best on the street.

Carla handed her role with Roy over to Cathy the other night.

Which I guess is the lead up to Roy and Cathy getting married, which I still don't like

Will these two make up before Carla leaves?

I'd like her final scene to just be her and Roy. No Johnny. No Michelle. No Tracy. Just Carla and Roy.
