He seems to have a simplistic view of the world. If he wants something he should have it, if someone upsets him he batters them, and if he's asked a question he answers honestly.

He's been let down by Ian and Jane though. The narrative problem with Bobby is that the story started out as a 'whodunnit', so it meant that we had no clues to Bobby was developing into a psycho until we saw events that took place AFTER it was revealed that he had killed Lucy.

I wouldn't say Denise's slap had anything to do with it. It was more likely Abi's beating and the trip in Deals on Wheels

You've hit the nail on the head. We had a 12 month whodunnit with all the suspects being lined up. DTC thought he was being clever doing a shock with the killer being the kid extra with the new head. It was a shock but reality was we knew little or nothing about Bobby.
