But at some point we will no doubt have Ian and Jane and max all drinking in the vic at the same time (though not together!) . In real life of such an event occurred, Ian and Jane would move away for a fresh start as they wouldn't be able to stay where everyone knew what they had done. But ee will probably throw them a street party abs have all the residents tell them that it's all OK.”

The last time Ian's lies landed Max in prison (he said he witnessed him cutting Phil's breaks) he just invited him round for dinner afterwards, and everything was hunky dory.

Well whatever happens we all know Phil will come out of it squeaky clean...

He did similar with Dean. He tried to play it that audience would end up having some sympathy with him. DTC compass on issues like this is somewhat out.

Yep. And max was the one that took Ian in when he had a breakdown and came back with nothing. What a lovely man Ian is to set him up and send him to jail TWICE.

And let's not forget that they share a grandchild...one who Max is destined never to see. Still as long as Beale's family is OK.......

Credible? Get your soap head on!

He's a purebred, male, Beale, and with Peter out of the picture we're going to need him about if Ian ever gets sick of the place.

He'll go away for a while (young offenders or some sort of social service), and if we're lucky, he won't get head swapped before he gets back.

Yep, can't see his only grandchild, vilified by all his friends and family, lost his freedom, lost his house and all his belongings. But that's OK because it meant bobby got to attack numerous other people because "he's just a child".
