I know which one people round my way would be talking about, for sure.”

Spot on.

The Police liaison officer said the coroner had ordered an Au Topsy so they can't even start planning a funeral - they can't even instruct an undertaker to start finding possible dates for the church and/or Crem as they need the pink slip which you c,kt get until you've registered the death, they won't get a certificate to do that until the coroner has completed their investigation. So, they are in limbo re making arrangements.

Given that, it is just their feelings to be considered and they caan't expect somebody else to cancel a wedding that has been planned for months. That couples friends and relations will still want to celebrate. It just so happens that there is a slight crossover due to Ben being related to Ian, even though he isn't blood related to Martin and Sharon having known Martin since before he was born. Phil wasn't actually at the wedding was he, or - it's only really Ronnie being there which seems odd.

How many of the other characters really knew Peggy that well? Well enough that they wouldn't go to a wedding of people they care about or sit with slapped arses for faces the whole time? It's sad but it's a fact that life does have to go on And most people adopt an 'it's what she would have wanted" re celebrations going on.

It usually does when it's your mum or grandmother - well at least for 48 hours.

Are we sure Peggy really killed herself - maybe Bobby came in and murdered her?

Ronnie said "she doesn't have much family left" last night presuming she's talking about Peggy

Was she actually dead, her actual death and body wasn't shown on screen, maybe she will return in a few years like others who were supposed to be dead have.

Last nights episode was still the next day. Billy and Honey were joking around on the phone. Ronnie was smiling, when does she ever smile? Phil was caught up in the Beale saga. Roxy and Jay were joking around about the drugs.

Peggy who?

She means nothing to them obviously, her death has been worse than Pauline's, or on the same line as poor Pauline.

I was going to say they can't make any arrangements yet. Not till the post-mortem's been done. I know as I had to wait to arrange my mums funeral and it's not all that quick.
I wonder if the Coker's are going to be doing it. I expect it'll be a lavish affair, but where's the money going to come from I wonder.

She's not been around for 6 years so hardly going to be mass hysteria. Mitchells are a narcissistic lot so what did you expect?
