Why are Peterborough so special, when i looked the other day to see this Weekends offerings I think Peterborough again, and now I notice again in November, is it to with them picking safe matches, against teams, they know wont get postponed due to cal ups.

But call ups cancelling L1 fixtures, doesnt seem as common as say a couple of years ago

If you discount the customary live play-off matches at the end of the season, Sky showed 8 League Two games in 2014/15 and 6 last season. Whilst the coverage of other leagues has been going up, League Two has been neglected further.

BT Sport give the National League more coverage than Sky do for League Two.

Because the L2 clubs are more likely to have lost in FA Cup

On your last bit, I dont no how many Vanarama games BT can show, but it seems to have been one a week this season.

Its a pity League2/Vanarama cant be in the same contract, im sure BT would it brilliantly.

But hearing Matt Smith say for example on BT we are showing live coverage from the SkyBet League 2, would be strange

Liv and Man U at home shown this round so Ars v Soton has a good chance of being aired.

I'm going for Arsenal and Man U for the televised matches. I just don't think the appeal will be there for the Leeds game with it taking place at Anfield.

Makes sense W Ham and Soton bigger teams than Leeds so more chance of upset.

Arsenal, Saints, United and WH all play the Sun before (United v WH incidentally in the PL on the Sun) - so assume both those ties will need to be played on the Wed?

If so, think Sky will just pick Liv v Leeds for the Tues.

Leeds always rate highly in their own right and Liverpool are the 2nd biggest draw for TV in the country

Can easily see sky going with that game

Liverpool vs Leeds is a shoe in.
Man Utd vs West Ham are always good tasty affairs so id bank on those 2 ties being the Sky TV picks!

I think Man United v West Ham looks most 'appealing' in terms of Sky's desire for ratings, but may I make a shout for Hull v Newcastle as the other game? Newcastle are a club roaring along on emotion at the moment, and they will take thousands and thousands down to Hull for that game. I just think that could be a better Cup tie than Liverpool easily seeing off Leeds or Arsenal v Southampton which doesn't whet the appetite IMO.

Irrelevant. They'll pick the ties which are likely to attract most viewers. I'd argue that Man Utd v pretty much anyone would get more viewers than Arsenal. Liverpool v Leeds is 1 of the higher rating PL teams v 1 of the higher rating EFL teams. Imagine if Chelsea had won last night. You can guarantee they'd show Man Utd v Chelsea regardless of Man Utd being shown at home in the 4th round (and away in the 3rd round).

Surely Soton is a more attractive team than Leeds, Man u a shoe in, but can see the appeal to Sky of Soton over Leeds and the two home times (Liv and Ars) must have a similar amount of attraction so it will come down to whether Sky think Leeds or Soton are the most attractive.

Soton are a strong team who could give Ars a good game so surely makes sense to show that? All prem tie or Prem at home to Championship, if it were Leeds at home yes but at Anfield the Arsenal game makes sense.

You would assume that Liverpool v Leeds is 100% certain to be show.

Man U game 99.9%

Why is Southampton a more attractive team than Leeds? Because they're in the PL and Europe? For ratings, I'd expect Leeds to get more viewers in the EFL than a fair number of PL teams do, including Southampton, despite how well Southampton have done recently and how......poor Leeds have been for many years.

Soton aren't just a PL team, they are one of the now established bigger Prem teams, expected to finish in the Top 10 and in the group of teams like Everton just outside the Big 6. So yes a much bigger team than Leeds who haven't been close to the PL for many years.
