They're going from strength to strength. I love their next single 'All In My Head'.

Have you heard the whole album yet? I thought it wasn't out til Friday. I was going to pre-order but I'm going to listen to it first before I buy. I like the songs that have already been released and Work From Home is one of my favourite songs of 2016 so far.

it leaked online yesterday. i would say it's a definite purchase, there's not a single bad track in my opinion. that's my girl is an absolute banger and is fast becoming my favourite one off the album.
Where did you listen to it?

Bit of a slow grower for me. I loved their debut instantly. This, not so much. But i am not writing it off yet because not everything is brilliant on early listens.

Been listening all day, it's a fantastic album, they finally have their own sound. Reflection was a mess, no distinct sound at all. But now it's a different story. They are finally here to stamp their mark on the music industry.

'That's my girl', 'Work from home', 'The life', 'Scared of happy' and 'Not that kinda girl' are the standout tracks for me. I think 'Dope' is the weakest track. 'Write on me' is growing on me. Very good album

Just bought it. It's a much better album than Reflection and their first EP (Better Together) was awful. It was a bit too teenybopper. I only liked a few songs off Reflection but I like most of 7/27 so far. I've only listened to the samples so I might listen to the full thing (apart from the songs I know) while studying.

i actually didn't realise what strong voices they all had. who is the one that sings the second verse in write on me that sounds exactly like carrie underwood? the only one i can tell straight away is camila because she has the most distinctive voice obviously.

I think Lauren is my favourite member. So glad she gets more parts to sing on this album, she deserves it. Crminally under used on Reflection.

It's Lauren Juregi who sings the second verse. If you're knew to them, you should check out their XF solo auditions...they all sound great. They've also done some great YouTube piano covers of songs by people such as Frank Ocean (they did these before they released their debut album). I love this - https://youtu.be/0q4jWZh9avQ

i thought lauren sang the chorus? i'm talking about the verse that starts "you are my friend, straight and no chaser." i actually watched the season of x factor usa they were on but can't really remember much about it except i was, and still am, a big fan of bea miller. i do feel like i remember lauren auditioning and thought she was annoying for some reason?

Oh sorry, you're right. The second verse is Ally. In terms of technicality she had the best voice. Love the country tone to her voice too. My favourite is Dinah (the blonde one). I'm obsessed with the tone of her voice.

It's alright. Around half the tracks are decent and the others are crap imo.
I don't have anything against them but I find them hard to root for seeing as they clearly don't like each other all that much or particularly want to be in a group. I honestly think they would work better and be more believable if they got rid of Camila but it's obviously too late for that now. It's an improvement on their last album though so at least they're improving.. they still have potential. |

My favourite singers from this group is the second girl on the 1st verse, (the smallest girl in height) and the one with the dark curly hair and dark skin, who gets a solo at the end of the video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCJ3rmiZFr8 I also love the tone of the dark haired girl, with the pale skin, who gets to sing 'write on me, colour outside the line'. Think this girl doesn't get enough solo parts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7WuggM1WBiU |

Well, it's been out a week and I've gotta say it's a brilliant album, much better than Reflection. Fave songs would have to be Work From Home (one of the best pop songs of 2016 IMO), Write On Me, The Life, All In My Head, Not That Kinda Girl, No Way, I Lied and Scared of Happy.

Love the sound of their album. Very good modern band. And much better than the British equivalent Little Mix.
