Usually Simon and co give standing ovation don't they during the results show guest performers, but I only saw bewilderment and surprise from the judges at how rubbish he Matisse act was tonight?

Wasn't a great performance

Poor performance (jules looked like she just didn't want to be there at all), confusing story, wrong music, boring act really. Then it cut to three judges half heartedly clapping and Simon taking a sip of water. Jules didn't speak to Ant and Dec and the judges made no reference to them whatsoever. They were even introduced backstage. They will never be back! It felt awkward and rude.

Jules had a conversation with Ant and Dec and introduced all the dogs to them.

Worst winning act of all time for BGT I think, by a long way. I'm still surprised they won. Compare that shit show to the fast paced excitement of Ashleigh & Pudsey... They were another league.

All the guest performers have been introduced backstage for the last 3 years with the nights acts .

I didn't know what the frick was going on. The story wasn't good. It was incomprehensible.

Somebody worked in a dog factory on a machine which makes dogs, one dog gets the glitter bucket which spills glitter (trying to eat the glitter?), the worker tries to clean the glitter up, but it all goes wrong and the machine breaks down making melted dogs, so the worker decides that the solution to the problem is to get some dynamite to destroy everything and escape, and the grand finale to the story, the big explosion.
Hans Christian Anderson eat your heart out.

I also have no idea why the audience cheered and clapped each time a dog in a box came out of the machine? Is that the standard of dog talent now, just sit in a box?
When the edit cut to the judges you could see by their body language and facial expressions that they were a bit bored.

I was wating for something exciting to happen but all that happened was Jules sweeping glitter off the floor.

It's was a woeful performance but just like I expect by anything that has won a Simon Cowell produced program

It was absolutely dire and should not have won last year. If there was a dog act in the final this year, it would win, regardless of the ability. The dogs are, undeniably cute and well cared for.

My fave bit was the one which got away to run back and kiss Dec! (IIRC the same thing happened last year - that dog really loves him )

They won last year because it was a good performance and a nice story. This time the story didn't work and did the finish go wrong?

There was obviously something strange going on because Ant & Dec would normally ask the judges to comment at the end and they would say it was great to have them back.

Yes I think you may be right. Looks like something went wrong at the end hence the baffled look on the judges faces

In any case it was a crap story which wouldn't have got them Past the auditions.

Maybe jules had a falling out with Simon but was contractually obliged to appear in the show ?

This act absolutely deserved to win last year! I was over the moon.

I hate seeing bloody pop singers on BGT when they could go on XF, but like dog acts they are here to stay. You can't realistically expect to like every act that gets put through.
