True

How atrocious the VC fire was. A real low point in the show's 56 year history. The bit I seem to remember the most wasn't Kal chillin' on the balcony or even Carla not being able to speak and having to write down her lines, but was when Liz grunted 'Amehhhh's in thuuur' at Tracy like she didn't give a shit.

Special mention must be made to the enduring star of Corrie's BGT weeks, Jenny 'Flaming' Bradley. Last year she was prancing around in her black wig, this year she was doing the Pasodoble with the Paperboy. I wonder what she'll do next year?

I'll need to watch both this evening which is rare. I think exciting new eras for both shows are coming after the summer. Question is...which one will revert back to being rubbish first?

Corrie has been dreadful this week. In fact, it's not been great for two or so years now.

I can't imagine EE dropping in quality as their new producer wrote for a lot of storylines in their golden era.

I hope Corrie improves but Kate Oates will have a tough job as the show has been dire for two years now.
